Friday 14 and Saturday 15 June 2013 are dates that music fans will want to put in their diaries. In what will undoubtedly be one of the true highlights of the City of Culture programme, Phil Coulter will return to the ‘Town He Loves So Well’ for a unique and historic event at The Venue 2013. In the biggest and most ambitious concert he has ever performed in his hometown, Phil will be joined by the glorious sounds of the Ulster Orchestra, The Priests, Moya Brennan, Ralph McTell and Damian McGinty.
The Maestro has played with some of the most prestigious orchestras in the world and performed in iconic venues like Carnegie Hall in New York and the Budokan Hall in Tokyo but this, as he says himself, is very special. “I am genuinely thrilled to have the chance to bring my music home on such a grand scale and to share the stage with the magnificent Ulster Orchestra, in such a unique location. It’s going to be one of the highlights of my career so I’ve invited some of the stars that I’ve worked with through the years to join me on the night. It’s going to be a real “one off”, never to be repeated. I can hardly wait!” Neither, we suspect, can the legions of Coulter fans at home and abroad.

Some few days ago , Paul Byrom had a private concert in Philadelphia and invited Damian McGinty 🙂
It was at the Joseph Amber Inn (John Roberts House). The very lucky people there had a dinner too and then began the concert…
Paul started singing six songs, then Damian sang 3 songs, then Paul returned and sang one more and finally they both together sang “Hallellujah” , “Sweet Caroline” and “Ireland’s Call”.
All the crowd were singing along and clapping and having a great moment!
When the concert finished , fans were available to take pics and get autographs of these two amazing and handsome singers 😉
Here some pictures of the event. Enjoy!
